The teacher fired for supposedly having an affair with a student now says her man was in fact a 19-year-old professional fashion model.

The young man with the hot modeling career was striking a pose as he smoked a cigarette in a third-floor window when CBS 2 HD saw him on Tuesday night. Josh Walter, 19, is the younger guy in a relationship scandal that got a city school teacher fired.
Walter explained to CBS 2 HD in somewhat graphic terms that didn't want to talk about it.
His live-in girlfriend is 37-year-old Gina Salamino, a former second-grade teacher. They now have a child together and she wants her old job back. The strain clearly showed on the handsome young model as he got physical with CBS 2 HD cameramen.
"Leave me alone. Understand that? Leave me alone," he shouted as he crossed the street.
He then decided to get up close and personal with our hardware.
Walter was apparently upset at all the attention he's received over the last few days.
Salamino was never HIS teacher, but the Queens school district she worked for conducted an investigation and determined she met her current boyfriend when he was 12, and started dating him when he was 16. The report obtained by CBS 2 said the "student admitted that he first had sex with Salamino sometime in 2006 when he was 17."
Psychiatrist Judith Kuriansky told CBS 2 HD it's not all that unusual for this type of relationship to happen, although it IS inappropriate.
"We used to think of that only socially, working for the man being attracted to the young beautiful girl, but truth be told, there are older women who get attracted to the young handsome hunk of a guy," Dr. Kuriansky said.
The couple's current situation -- that they live together have a child and she is roughly twice his age -- is not all that remarkable but experts told us the problem lies in the genesis of the relationship when she was an authority figure and he was a minor.
"It's always the responsibility of the older person to control the urge and not make the experience a sexual one," Dr. Kuriansky explained.
The former teacher's defense is that her teen paramour was so wrapped up in his new modeling career when they first got involved that he didn't attend school often enough to be considered a student.
The court will decide, but Dr. Kuriansky said that when it comes to minors, the prohibitions are clear.
"From a legal and a psychological point of view that's totally unacceptable," Dr. Kuriansky said.
