According to The Economist's liveability ranking, Vancouver is the most liveable city in the world. Countries like Canada and Australia did well on the list because of good infrastructure and relatively low population, while the lowest scores were in Africa, where the threat of violence and instability drive down liveability scores. Here is a look at the ten of the best and worst places to live, according to The Economist.

With a rating of 98.8, Vancouver, Canada achieved the best possible score for stability, health care, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure.
