during a surprise stop in Iraq on Dec. 14, 2008, when, during a press
conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki, a reporter leapt up
and hurled a pair of shoes at Bush. Later, Bush called the incident "a bizarre moment."
