The best way to kick off the American Film Institute's compilation of the 10 best flicks of all time in 10 different genres is to count down classic epic films first. The 1956 hit film "The Ten Commandments" possesses the title of the #10 greatest epic film ever made. Charlton Heston starred as Moses in the Cecil B. Demille epic.
