She became famous for her role as Rachel Green in the sitcom Friends, a role for which she won an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. Since then she has starred in several large Hollywood films. Her relationships with some big name actors and musicians, including of course her marriage to Brad Pitt, have been highly publicized.
