Syracuse Captures 2009 NCAA Lacrosse Championship

Syracuse staged a dramatic rally, erasing a three-goal deficit in the final 5:30 to force overtime. From there, Cody Jamieson did the rest, scoring the winning goal a little more than two minutes into the extra session as Syracuse defended its title and won its 11th lacrosse championship overall, 10-9 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
