Vintage Subway Back For Last Yankee Stadium Game
NEW YORK (AP) ―
Going to the last game at Yankee Stadium? Why not take the Nostalgia Special?
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is bringing back a vintage subway train for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles, the last game that will ever be played at the stadium.
The four-car vintage train will leave the Grand Central-42nd Street station at 6 p.m. on the 4 and 5 track.
The Yankees are scheduled to open 2009 in a new ballpark across the street. The current stadium will be torn down.
