It was easily the catch of the day: a nine-foot-long bull shark weighing 551-pounds.
Perhaps more surprising, however, was the fact that the fisherman who reeled it in was just a young boy from Greenwich, Conn.
While in Palm Beach, Fla. with his family, 12-year-old Aidan Murray Medley noticed the fish he had nearly caught were continuously being pulled off before he could reel them in. Turned out it was the bull shark stealing his catch, and just 45 minutes later, the 120-pound boy hauled in the massive fish.

It's the largest fish of it's kind ever to be caught in the state.
So what's a 12-year-old to do with a shark that weighs 300 pounds more than him? Medley says he plans on having the shark stuffed and mounted on the wall of his boarding school in Greenwich.
