Devils Send 7 To Lowell, 3 Back To Junior Hockey
NEWARK (CBS) ―
The New Jersey Devils have made 10 player moves, cutting their training camp roster to 32 players.
The Devils announced on Thursday that seven players were assigned to Lowell of the AHL: goaltender Gerald Coleman; defensemen Matthew Corrente and Tyler Eckford; and forwards Patrick Davis, Nick Palmieri, Michael Swift, and Alexander Vasyunov.
General manager Lou Lamoriello also announced that three players were returned to their junior hockey clubs: defensemen Eric Gelinas (Lewiston, QMJHL) and Alexander Urbom (Brandon, WHL); and forward Patrice Cormier (Rimouski, QMJHL).
The Devils are a member of the NHL's Eastern Conference, competing in its Atlantic Division.
