Knicks forward Wilson Chandler had surgery to remove bone spurs in his left ankle and is expected to take a month to recover.
The Knicks said the procedure Wednesday in New York was successful and comes with a rehab time of four to eight weeks.
Chandler averaged 14.4 points while playing in all 82 games during the regular season.
The Knicks selected the former Depaul big man with the 23rd pick of the first round in the 2007 NBA Draft.
