The five police officers involved in the shooting outside a Queens strip club are on paid administrative leave. They've had their guns removed. Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said the case would be presented to a grand jury.
Lawyers representing four of the five shooting officers have contacted prosecutors and "expressed a willingness to cooperate with the investigation and the grand jury."
Michael Palladino of the Detectives' Endowment Association, defended the officers' actions and said police were responding to the threat of a car that was being used as a weapon.
