Garbage Truck Accident Causes Major Amtrak Delays
Chester, Pa. (CBS) ―
A tractor trailer accident is causing major problems for Amtrak riders along the Northeast corridor.
The truck was carrying a full load of garbage on I-95 in Chester, Pa. when it crashed and burst into flames shortly before noon.
Flaming trash from the truck spilled onto the train tracks below, and numerous fire engines were brought to the scene to extinguish
No one was hurt in the accident, but Amtrak was forced to suspend service along the Northeast corridor in both directions south of Philadelphia.
