Foxy Brown's Manhattan Court Date Postponed
NEW YORK (AP) ―
Rapper Foxy Brown's appearance in court has been postponed.
A Manhattan State Supreme Court Judge today set May 26 as a conference date to schedule a trial.
Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, is accused of assaulting two nail salon workers in 2004 in a fight over payment for a manicure at Bloomie Nails in Chelsea.
She was initially charged with misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment. The rapper has refused at least two misdemeanor plea deals that would have let her avoid any jail time.
