It's been two years since former N.J. Gov. Jim McGreevey admitted he was a "gay American."

The former N.J. governor claimed he had an affair with Golan Cipel.
Former Governor McGreevey's estranged wife is having none of his book tour and appearance on Oprah Winfrey.
In a statement released today, Dina Matos McGreevey said her focus since her husband announced he was resigning because he had a gay affair has been protecting her daughter and establishing their lives as private citizens.
Matos McGreevey said she'll continue to do so and has no further comment at this time.
The former governor, speaking from the Plainfield home he shares with his male companion, tells The Associated Press he hopes the book leads to public acceptance of his openly gay lifestyle.
McGreevey said being gay "is a grace from God." The former governor said by accepting that reality and embracing that truth, he could be himself.
