Cops Outfox Lopez-Anthony Shakedown Artists
Undercover Officers Bust 2 Men For Allegedly Trying To Extort $1 Million

NEW YORK (CBS) ―
The two men accused of trying to allegedly shake down Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony, wound up in court after they were in a police sting. They are accused of trying to get $1 million for the couple's stolen wedding video.
Instead of "spending" the million dollars they were allegedly trying to extort from Lopez and Anthony, convicted murderer Tito Moses and retired New Jersey postal worker Steven Wortman were in court trying to avoid spending time in jail.
Police say the pair wanted money from the celebrity couple in exchange for their stolen wedding video.
The New York Post received a call from someone claiming they would return the video that was on Anthony's stolen laptop, for a price.
Murray Weiss of The Post said: "The Post of course wasn't interested, and then we discovered that we weren't the only ones that had been contacted. NYPD had a case going already."
The men thought they were negotiating with a representative of Anthony's but it turned out to be a police officer.
In the end, it was revealed they was willing to accept $200,000 for the video.
Moses and Wortman, a father of seven, are charged with conspiracy, second-degree attempted grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
Moses' bail was set at $50,000, while Wortman's bail was set at $25,000. The suspects are scheduled to return to court on Friday.
