A Seven Million-Dollar Man?
John "Junior" Gotti will likely walk out of prison, free on bail
NEW YORK (CBS) ―
John "Junior" Gotti--will likely walk out of prison free on bail--tomorrow morning.
The judge in Gotti's racketeering case granted his release, following last week's mistrial.
His seven million-dollar bond is being secured by four family properties--- including the homes of his mother and sister. Gotti will be under house arrest---with electronic monitoring.
But that's not good enough for the man who claims gotti tried to have him killed.
"I, unlike the jury, know he'll continue in his criminal enterprise--- part of that may be a little vengeance--- a little vendetta against me--- third time around may be the lucky charm for him." Said Curtis Sliwa.
Gotti's Attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman said "Every witness who testified in this case is either in prison or the witness protection program--- or curtis sliwa--- and he's our best witness."
Also in court yesterday-- the judge ordered a new trial to begin in February.
