Storm Watch: Heavy Rain Delays N.J. Lottery

TRENTON (AP) ― A heavy storm didn't just cause flooding worries. It also took out the Pick 3 and Pick 4 for a time.

The Saturday midday drawing for New Jersey's state lottery was delayed when a heavy storm disrupted operations and shut down lottery machines around the Garden State.

The midday drawing was delayed when the storm affected lines at the lottery's main office in Trenton at about 12:30 p.m.

Lottery spokesman Dominick DeMarco says service was restored by 4 p.m.

DeMarco said the evening drawing was scheduled to be held at a little before 8 p.m. as usual.
