Two New Yorkers were injured in the annual running of the bulls festival in Pamplona, Spain.
A 31-year-old man was thrown in Pamplona's bullring by one of five young cows released after today's run.
City officials said he could not move his legs and was taken to the hospital. The man's name is being withheld.
Other injuries reported in the run included Frank Walls, a 44-year-old New Yorker, who had facial injuries.
The festival -- which lasts nine days -- sees the streets of Pamplona packed with young and old partygoers from Spain, Europe, the United States and virtually every other corner of the world.
Many cavort into the early hours and then go straight from the bars to the famous 900-yard route where the bull runs take place every morning at 8 o'clock.
