Suspect In Tenafly Triple Murder Lands In N.J.

Kang-Hyuk Choi was charged with the murders of three friends, 70-year-old Doo Soo Seo, 58-year-old Yoo Bok Kim, and her son, 28-year-old Han Il "Sean" Kim.

The suspect allegedly responsible for a triple murder in the usually quiet community of Tenafly is now back in New Jersey on Tuesday afternoon.
Kang-Hyuk Choi waived extradition in California and was returned east Tuesday morning from Los Angeles International Airport.
Investigators said Choi brutally stabbed 28-year-old Han-Il-Kim, Kim's mother, and his uncle on the night of May 4. Their bodies were discovered inside the Kim family home on Tenafly Road. Choi is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.
Police Chief Michael Bruno said, "The motive for this is money."
"Everybody gets a shiver up their spine. How could something like this happen?" resident V.J. Kapadia asked.
Kim's BMW and $30,000 in cash were missing from the scene, but investigators did find his diary, and that led them to Choi.
"And it was quite specific on what turned out to be the last two days of his life and it indicated very clearly that he had spent that time with Mr. Choi," said Frank Puccio, executive assistant prosecutor.
