Search Continues For B'klyn Hit-And-Run Suspect

Police: 25-Year-Old Pedestrian Struck, Left Lying In Critical Condition

BROOKLYN (CBS) ― The search continues Wednesday morning for a hit-and-run driver who left a man lying in a Brooklyn street.

Police say just before midnight Tuesday evening, a dark sedan hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Ocean Parkway and 18th Avenue.

The victim, a 25-year-old male, was left lying in the street before taken to Lutheran Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Although the car's speed has not yet been determined, a witness told authorities that the car was driving very fast and after the incident, the suspect fled the scene.
