Fire officials say four occupants of a car suffered minor injuries after their vehicle flipped over during an accident with a fire truck in Brooklyn.

The five firefighters aboard the truck were not injured in the 1:35 p.m. accident on Friday in the borough's Bay Ridge section.

The fire truck was responding to a call of an odor of smoke; it turned out to be unfounded.

The occupants of the car were taken to Lutheran Medical Center.

The cause of the accident is not yet known.
