NORTH HAVEN, N.Y. (CBS/AP) ― Supermodel Christie Brinkley is extending her slate of Hamptons properties.

According to published reports, she's buying a four-bedroom home on more than two acres of waterfront in understated North Haven, where she already has another home.

A spokeswoman says Brinkley initially intended to buy the new spread for her parents, but it's not clear whether that's still the plan.

It's not clear what Brinkley is paying for the new property. It was listed at nearly $11 million.

The 53-year-old CoverGirl model has multiple homes in the Hamptons, as does her onetime husband Billy Joel. The singer recently bought a home in Sagaponack from actor Roy Scheider, and Joel also has one in Sag Harbor.

Brinkley filed for divorce last fall from her most recent husband, architect Peter Cook.
