New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine and his Republican opponent Chris Christie are making their first post-primary appearances to the business community.
The two gubernatorial candidates will speak separately to about 350 members of the New Jersey Business and Industry Association Tuesday night.
Plans for the state's economic recovery could dominate the fall campaign for governor.
NJBIA spokesman Steve Wilson says the candidates' plans to get New Jersey back on track will help determine which is elected in November.
Corzine, a former Wall Street CEO and U.S. senator, is seeking a second term. Christie, a former federal prosecutor with little fiscal expertise, says it's time for new leadership.
Corzine was sworn in on January 17, 2006.
