A new poll finds just 1 of 4 New Jerseyans think Governor Corzine should be re-elected next year, and even fewer support a new plan for increases on toll roads.
The Monmouth University/Gannett New Jersey survey out Sunday shows Corzine with a 40 percent job approval rating, which is unchanged from August.
However, only 24 percent of respondents want to see him remain in office for a second term, compared with 65 percent who say it's time for someone else.
The poll showed the governor being dragged down by a New Jersey Turnpike Authority plan to increase tolls to pay for transportation improvements.
It found more than half oppose the plan, while less than 20 percent support it.
