Man Critical After Attack By Teens On L.I.
VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (CBS) ―
A 30-year-old man is in critical condition with a fractured eye socket and a concussion after being attacked by a group of 12 to 15 people on Long Island.
Nassau County police say the attackers were described as teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17.
The victim told police the group struck him in the head, face and chest. The Valley Stream resident didn't get medical help until hours after the incident, which occurred early Sunday.
Valley Stream had a population of at least 36,368, according to the last census.
