NY Man Pleads Guilty In Fatal DWI Crash
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (CBS) ―
A 32-year-old suburban Rochester man will receive a six-month jail term and five years of probation after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter in a fatal crash.
Daniel Tewksbury of Henrietta drove his vehicle on the wrong side of Interstate 390 the night of Feb. 24 and collided head-on with a minivan driven by a widowed mother. The driver of the minivan, 45-year-old Nancy DeCarr of Greece, died in the crash.
Prosecutors say Tewksbury's blood alcohol content was .18 percent, which is more than twice the legal threshhold for DWI.
