Firefighters Battle Blaze In Hoboken High-Rise
Fire Consumes Bar, Apartments
HOBOKEN, N.J. (CBS) ―
Firefighters in Hoboken battled a building fire in the early morning hours on Monday.
The fire broke out just after 1:00 a.m. on the first floor, where a bar is located. It quickly spread to the apartments above the bar and part of the building's interior collapsed.
There were flames and heavy smoke earlier Monday morning, but at this point firefighters have not been able to get it under control.
No injuries were reported, however some firefighers were treated for smoke inhalation during this three alarm fire.
Investigators have yet to determine what caused the fire to begin with.
