Fire Truck, Bus Crash Injures At Least 25
Ladder 103 Truck & New York City Bus Involved In Accident
BROOKLYN (CBS) ―
At least 25 people, including five firefighters, were injured in an accident involving a fire truck and a New York City bus, CBS 2 has learned.
Officials say the fire truck involved is from Ladder 103 in Brooklyn and the bus is route B-15.
According to sources, the truck was on its way to a car fire when the accident occurred. It is possible that some of the firefighters are still pinned below the vehicles.
The incident, which occurred shortly before 11 a.m., took place at Hegeman Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville.
