The judge in a case against five men accused of planning to kill soldiers on New Jersey's Fort Dix is getting impatient.
During the 11th day of testimony Tuesday by a paid government informant, U.S. District Judge Robert Kugler asked lawyers for the defense to speed things up.
The judge also questioned the relevance of defense lawyers asking Mamoud Omar for his opinion of the defendants.
Omar, who is being paid $1,500 per week for helping the government, has been under cross-examination for four days by lawyers for the defense.
They're trying to build the case that Omar was the one orchestrating a plot and trying to involve the others in it.
The government is arguing the case is a frightening example of domestic terrorism.
