The pride of New England was creamed by the Giants in Super Bowl 42. And now, so has its namesake chowder -- at least at one New York City restaurant.
The Grand Central Oyster Bar planned to change the name of its New England Clam Chowder to "Giants Clam Chowder" for the week.
The restaurant's owner says it's "an appropriated tribute." "Giants Clam Chowder" will be available for $5.75 a bowl.
The Giants beat the previously undefeated Patriots 17-14 on Sunday night for their third Super Bowl title.
