Super Bowl XLII: Giants Ready For 'Perfect' Pats

Underdog G-Men Look To End New England Winning Streak

GLENDALE, Ariz. (CBS) ― After an 0-2 start, there weren't many who thought the Giants would make it to the Superbowl, but after a league record 10 straight road wins, the G-Men are looking for one more.

History will be made Sunday one way or the other. Either Big Blue will upset the Patriots, or the Pats will complete their season of perfection and go 19-0.

The Giants completely their final walk through Saturday in Arizona, and many players are anxious to finally get out and play the game.

A lot of pressure is riding on the shoulders of quarterback Eli Manning. He's been outstanding this post-season with four touchdown passes and no interceptions. And he'll need to be just as sharp Sunday as he was in week 17.

For Hillborough, N.J. native Sean O'Hara, making it to the big game means a great deal a pride.

"I'm extremely proud to be here representing the Garden State. It's something that I think, as players, it's something that we always think about and dream about and sometimes you feel it's only at arms-length. And to actually be here experiencing it and going through, I'm hoping I can catch as much of it on videotape as I can so I can continue to watch it," Giants center O'Hara said.

It's been said that in order for the Giants to pull off an upset victory at Superbowl XLII that they'll have to play perfect football, and the pressure to do just that weighs on the entire team.

"I think it's on us all, and that's one of the big objectives of the Super Bowl: who handles the pressure better?" O'Hara said. "I think once we get through kickoff and once we get that first link out of the way, I think it's back down to football. And we've been playing football extremely well."

"I think this game is going to be no different. The team that takes care of the football and is able to create turnovers will win the game," O'Hara said.
