Orange, Rockland Utilities Sell Gift Certificates

If you don't know what to get someone for the holidays -- how about some heat and light - in the form of a gift certificate from Orange and Rockland Utilities.

The utility company is offering gift certificates that can be given to a person to help pay their gas and electric bills.

O&R spokesman Guyy Peifer says this is the first year the company is publicizing the certificates.

The certificates come in $25 up to $500 values. Peifer says last year about 50 were sold.

He notes its the perfect gift for someone who has everything - or sadly for the person who has nothing, and just wants to keep the heat and lights on.
