Ritzy Scarsdale Schools Battle Head Lice
SCARSDALE, N.Y. (CBS) ―
The wealthiest school district in New York is battling a nasty problem: head lice.
It's happening in Scarsdale, where all 1,200 students at the middle school were checked for head lice on Tuesday.
The principal hired a company called "Lice Enders" after the school nurse determined about 3 percent of students were infested.
The problem in Scarsdale has been traced to a sleepover party at a private home earlier this year.
