More passengers were stranded for hours upon hours on a JetBlue plane on Thursday.

Apparently not everyone learned their lesson after Wednesday's "turmoil on the tarmac" saga. Less than 24 hours after hundreds of passengers at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens were stranded for up to 11 hours inside JetBlue and Delta Airlines planes, CBS 2 has learned similar delays continued at the airport this morning.
New York resident Rick Guarino contacted CBS 2 shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday and said his 17-year-old daughter was stuck on a JetBlue airplane. Her flight, #1081 departing for Charlotte, was scheduled to leave JFK at 7:20 this morning.
"She was obviously very concerned, and she thought other flights were taking off and not hers," Guarino told WCBSTV.com. "At one point they said they were fifth in line to take off, but then they went back to the gate. They said they'd let people off, but they wouldn't let you back on."
Guarino says the flight was delayed even further after one woman who wanted to get off apparently changed her mind and asked to stay on. The flight crew, however, apparently instructed the woman to leave once she had said she wanted to get off.
"Basically they forced her off. I don't know if a flight attendant talked her off or if she was removed, but my daughter said that it took another hour just to get the woman's luggage off the plane," he said.
To make matters worse for the stranded passengers, the only food available to each was a small supply of snacks.
"She said they had limited refreshments. They offered chips, cookies, crackers, water, and soda," he said.
When Guarino tried to contact JetBlue, he said the lines were busy. He sent them an e-mail, but the only response he received was automated, and from the sounds of it, he wouldn't be hearing anything else anytime soon.
"This message is being sent to let you know that due to the weather disruptions in the Northeast we are experiencing a longer than usual response time and you can expect to hear back from us within the next 3-5 days," the automated response said.
Guarino last spoke to his daughter about 4:45 p.m., and he believes her flight finally took off around 5. WCBSTV.com will have an update from his daughter after she lands in Charlotte tonight.
"If it was me, I don't know how I could have handled it. I have a very patient daughter," he said. "My plan of action now is to call into JetBlue again and try to get some kind of answer."
