Ever since the identity of "Kristen" the alleged high priced call girl Governor Eliot Spitzer was involved with was revealed, the life of 22-year- old Ashley Alexandra Dupre hasn't been the same.
The aspiring singer's life, photos and exploits are now fodder for the tabloids, and her songs are getting heavy rotation on New York radio stations like Z100.
A music sharing site Dupree uses to sell her songs was $0.20 cents a download. Now the price has gone up to $0.98. Artists who use that site get 70 percent of the money.
Dupre has also been in a music video directed by Jonathan Ehlers. "I thought she was great. I thought she was warm. She was really into what she was doing," he said.
Her MySpace page, which received millions of hits, has been taken down along with a message saying "Ya, I did it." But the public's fascination with the new jersey native is far from over.
Magazines like Hustler and Penthouse are interested in featuring the alleged prostitute in naked photo spreads.
And entertainment insiders said Dupre could potentially earn millions by telling her side of the story.
