Extra Trains To Run For Giants Parade-Goers
Metro North, LIRR To Accomodate Riders
NEW YORK (AP) ―
Metro-North and the Long Island Rail Road will be adding trains for people wanting to go to the Giant's Super Bowl victory parade Tuesday.
Metro North says on the Hudson Line, a train originating in Poughkeepsie at 8:41 a.m. will make stops in New Hamburg, Beacon and Peekskill and arrive in the city at 10:11 a.m. A return train departs at 2:36 p.m.
On the Harlem Line, a train departs Southeast at 8:30 a.m. and stops in Brewster, Goldens Bridge, Katonah, Mount Kisco, Chappaqua, North White Plains and White Plains. It arrives at Grand Central at 9:48 a.m. A return train departs at 3:25 p.m.
No extra trains are planned on the New Haven Line, but extra cars might be used.
The Long Island Rail Road has not yet come out with it's extra train schedule, but it said one is coming.
