MTA Releases Subway Report Cards
Riders: Subways Need Improvement

Subway riders have not given a grade above a C to any of the MTA's subway lines.

New York City's subway system has gotten average grades from riders.
Report cards are in on the city's 22 subway lines and 18 received C or C-minus grades from riders. The remaining four lines got D-plus ratings.
Riders cited dirty stations, long waits for trains, frequent delays and overcrowding.
New York City Transit released the final results Friday. They included the W line, which received a D-plus grade. Other lines that got the lowly grade include the C, E and G lines.
The Staten Island Railway received a C-plus grade.
