NJ Transit Expands Holiday Train Service

NEWARK (AP) ― New Jersey rail travelers will have more options than usual over the Thanksgiving holiday.

NJ Transit is offering expanded early getaway service on Wednesday as well as additional service into New York on Thursday and Friday.

Three trains have been added on Wednesday afternoon on the Northeast Corridor line from New York to Trenton.

In addition, eight outbound trains will add a stop at Newark Liberty International Airport.

On Thanksgiving Day, NJ Transit is adding trains on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Raritan Valley, Morris & Essex and Port Jervis Lines.

Additional trains will run into New York Friday on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast and Morris & Essex lines.
