Child Tragedy: Nixzmary Brown

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Nixzmary Brown, 7, was molested, tortured and beaten to death on Jan. 11, 2006, by her stepfather, prosecutors said. The Administration for Childrens' Services acknowledged that reports of her suffering were known by it and other agencies.

Her mother and stepfather have been charged with multiple felony counts, including second-degree murder. Below, find CBS 2's full coverage of the tragic events.
