Storm Watch: NYC Opens Emergency Shelters
Available In All 5 Boroughs
NEW YORK (CBS/AP) ―
The city has opened nine emergency storm shelters because of the storm.
The shelters were opened at 10:00 a.m., and will remain open through the duration. They're located in all five boroughs near area most at risk for coastal flooding.
The shelters will provide basic accommodations including cots, food and water.
No evacuations have been ordered, the shelters are open as a precaution.
