NYC Lawyer Arrested On Groping Accusations
NEW YORK (AP) ―
A New York lawyer who taught at the FBI Academy and defended a policeman who tested positive for marijuana has been arrested after being accused of groping two female attorneys in his office.
The Manhattan district attorney says lawyer Richard Dienst surrendered Friday and is charged with forcible touching, third-degree sex abuse and harassment.
The 67-year-old Dienst is accused of groping one woman in June 2007 and the other in March of this year.
The incidents allegedly occurred in his 18th floor offices in the Woolworth Building on Lower Broadway.
Dienst's lawyer refused to talk to reporters as he left court.
