TRENTON, N.J. (AP) ―
John McCain and Barack Obama may be planning Monday visits to New Jersey but Republican Mitt Romney's campaign said they're not backing down.
Sen. Joseph Kyrillos, Romney's New Jersey campaign chief, said Romney's son, Craig, will campaign in New Jersey on Monday.
Possible stops for the 26-year-old include the Newark train station, a Morris County diner, the Statehouse, Monmouth University and ferry stops in Monmouth County.
McCain, Romney's Republican rival, plans to visit a Hamilton firehouse on Monday, while the Democratic Obama plans a rally at the Izod Center arena at the Meadowlands on Monday.
Hillary Rodham Clinton supporters will gather at 8 p.m. Monday at Burlington County College's Enterprise Center for a national webcast with Clinton, who will anchor the meeting from New York.
