1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Shooting At Brooklyn Bar

The NYPD is investigating a fatal shooting at the Norwood Palace Bar in Cypress Hill.

One person is dead and two others wounded following a shooting inside a Brooklyn bar.
Police said at 3 a.m. Sunday, patrons in the Norwood Palace Bar were embroiled in a fight that began with at least 10 people.
Two plain clothes officers with the anti-crime unit entered the bar in Cypress Hill, and that's when, police said, gunfire was exchanged.
One man who was hit was described by witnesses as a bar bouncer who was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
Another person from the bar was hospitalized.
The two officers were taken to Jamaica Hospital. They were not seriously injured, but were being checked for trauma.
Police say three guns were recovered from inside the bar.
To piece together what happened, police were reviewing security camera footage from inside the bar, and as many as 50 witnesses were being interviewed from a police station house.
