5 Stabbed In Separate Incidents Outside NYC Club
NEW YORK (AP) ―
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in the stabbing of two people outside a lower Manhattan nightclub, but investigators are still looking for whoever stabbed three other people outside the same club about a half-hour later.
Police say all five victims are in stable condition after the violence early Saturday outside Deco, in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood.
Mario Olmedo was arrested on assault and weapons possession charges after police said he slashed a 23-year-old man in the head and a 21-year-old woman in the neck.
Olmedo's home telephone number isn't in service, and police weren't certain whether he has a lawyer.
A woman and two man were stabbed in the later incident.
A call and e-mails to the nightclub weren't immediately returned Saturday.
