Allege She Has History of Psychological Problems

Police say a 25-year-old woman fatally stabbed a friend inside his Brooklyn apartment.

Police say Anastasiya Andreyeva stabbed 30-year-old Aleksei Kats early Monday morning at his apartment in the Bensonhurst section.

Police say the woman was taken into custody moments after the 3 a.m. attack and have charged her with murder. They say she has a history of psychological problems.

Her home phone number was not listed. Police say she remains in custody.

Andreyeva's Brooklyn landlord, Rosemarie Idarola, called her tenant an "utter sweetheart" and "a wonderful girl."

She says Andreyeva donated clips of her blonde hair to charity on Sunday.
