Hundreds Affected By Water Outage In Fort Lee

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Hundreds in Fort Lee have no water.

United Water alerted police Wednesday that water is out from Anderson Ave to Mohegan Way, and from Central Blvd. westbound to the Palisades Park border.

Up to 25 businesses were affected, as well as four apartment complexes, two condo complexes, and 50 homes.

Crews from United Water were scheduled to repair water valves in Fort Lee, and the task is expected to continue beyond 3 p.m.

A water tanker from Ridgefield was sent to Firehouse 4 off Central Blvd.
