Jurors have reached a verdict at the trial of former state Sen. Wayne Bryant.
The judge has not said when it would be announced.
Bryant is charged with bribery and fraud. He is accused of steering grants to a state medical school in exchange for a "low-show" job that helped him pad his state pension.
The verdict comes after the panel deliberated for three hours on Friday and a full day Monday.
Earlier Tuesday, the panel asked questions about Bryant's failure to advise state legislative officials of the $35,000 salary he received from a state medical school.
Jurors asked if the state must prove whether a former dean at the school, Michael Gallagher, was aware of or caused Bryant to submit the inaccurate salary disclosure form.
Gallagher is also on trial.
