CHP To Cows: Mooove Out Of The Way
Officers Move Wayward Cows Of Road
CASTAIC, Calif. (AP) ―
For four California Highway Patrol officers, it was something of a change of pace.
Accustomed to pulling over speedsters, they found themselves pulling over three errant bulls on a California road Monday night.
The bulls were spotted around 9:40 p.m. on Sloan Canyon Road at Lake Hughes Road, according to the CHP.
Four CHP officers were dispatched to the scene and -- yelling and waving flashlights -- herded the bulls onto a hill, a CHP officer told an On Scene Video camera crew.
Other CHP officers, meanwhile, came across the owners, two men who had been driving around asking people if they had seen their bulls, the men said.
The two were taken to the hill where the bulls were being guarded, and the four CHP officers prodded the cattle into a horse trailer, an officer said.
