Tagger Posts Picture On MySpace, Gets Busted

PITTSBURGH (CBS) ― Most criminals try to cover up their crime, but a Vermont woman who recently visited Pittsburgh posted evidence of her vandalism on the internet, reported CBS station KDKA-TV.

Pittsburgh Police say Cara Behm, 26, had someone take a picture of her tagging a monument on Mt. Washington and posted it on her MySpace page.

A tipster emailed two photos to the mayor's 311 response line and police contacted Behm.

Detective Alphonso Sloan says she was apologetic and admitted to doing the graffiti.

The Graffiti Task Force doesn't often find cases so easy to solve, but because of Behm's MySpace page, they closed the case in 24 hours.

Behm will have a summons sent to her and she must return to Pittsburgh for a preliminary hearing on a charge of criminal mischief.

She could face a $300 fine.
