Cops: Dad Left Injured Kids At Car Crash Scene

ROXBURY, Massachusetts (CBS) ― Boston police are searching for a driver accused of smashing into several cars in Roxbury Saturday afternoon and then leaving his two injured children behind at the accident scene, reports CBS station WBZ-TV in Boston.

Police officials said the man hit three cars with his van on Dudley Street and then ran from the area, ignoring his two kids in the van.

The children were taken to Boston Medical Center. Three other people were also injured in the multi-car wreck.

Police are not releasing the name of the driver, though they say he is not the owner of the van.

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families are involved in the investigation. The mother of the children has been notified of the incident.
